The Problem Gambling Intern Readiness learning series is a 30-hour self-paced course, consisting of five modules designed specifically for individuals who are seeking to learn about problem gambling disorder and treatment. Successful completion of this learning series will satisfy the Nevada State Board of Examiners for Alcohol, Drug and Gambling Counselors requirement for Certified Problem Gambling Intern application.

The course is available through the CASAT Learning platform and is open to anyone seeking to apply to become a Problem Gambling Intern. This course is brought to you by the University of Nevada Reno’s Center for the Application of Substance Abuse Technologies (CASAT) in collaboration with nationally certified problem gambling treatment professionals and professors from University of California Los Angeles and University of Nevada, Reno. Development of this course was funded by the Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health Bureau of Behavioral Health, Prevention and Wellness.
