Approximately 9.5% of youth, ages 13-17 years old, identify as LGBTQ+ (Conron, 2020). It is becoming increasingly more common for providers of adolescents to seek information about how to best care for these youth. This 2-hour presentation will provide an overview of LGBTQ+ terminology, discuss the experiences of LGBTQ+ youth, and discuss best practices for care.
